Botanical Garden of the University of Vienna was commissioned in the 18th century by Empress Maria Theresa with 11,500 plants from every part of the World. The oldest ones is the Ginkgo biloba with more than 200 years old. Unfortunately, most of the Botanical garden is closed to visitors. Only the tropical greenhouse can be accessed.
