Begijnhof is a beautiful hidden garden founded in the Middle Ages. Surrounded by old houses right in the centre of Amsterdam. Begijnhof seems closed because there are only two entrances. From the south you need to cross a narrow, vaulted passageway on the Spui and from an entrance from the Gedempte Beginensloot.
