Secession was formed in 1897 by a group of Artist artists that resigned the Association of Austrian Arts which included Gustav Klimt and Koloman Moser. Secession represents the Jugendstil movement that combined the frigid Historism with Modernism. Nowadays, Secession is one of the most famous exhibition spaces in Vienna.
