DESCRIPTION
Unlike Germany, Austria has not recognized their role it the atrocities in WWII. Judenplatz is the only place of remembrance in Austria, combining the three different monuments. The Rachel Whiteread's Memorial, the excavations of an underground medieval synagogue and a museum about medieval Jewry.
