Highgate Cemetery is nature reserve with around 170,000 people buried in 53,000 graves. The cemetery is divided into two parts, the East Cemetery (opened to the public) and the West Cemetery (visited through hour-long guided tour). The Highgate Cemetery is a beautiful resting place where Karl Marx, George Eliot and Beryl Bainbridge (just to name a few) are laid.
