Reina Sofía Art Center was inaugurated in 1992 to complement the world famous Prado Museum and is mostly dedicated to 20th century Spanish art. Reina Sofía Art Center has excellent Picasso and Dali collections as well as other Spanish and international masters. Originally built as a hospital, the museum was expanded in 2005.
