DESCRIPTION
Soares dos Reis Museum was founded in 1833 has the first public art museum in Portugal. Located in the Carrancas Palace this museum presents a wide variety of different artistic pieces. Probably the most important existing masterpiece is the 'Desterrado', from the sculptor António Soares dos Reis.
