Lello & Irmão Bookshop was inaugurated in 1906 with a fantastic neo-gothic facade characteristic of the beginning of the 20th century. The dual spiral staircase in the center of the Bookshop is such so fantastic that Lonely Planet considered Lello & Irmão Bookstore as the third most beautiful library in the world.
