The Orient Museum is dedicated to the influence of Portuguese culture in Asia and its counter influence in Portugal. In the 16th century Portugal established colonies in Asia which transformed how the world trade was done. It's only natural that the Orient Museum presents the importance of the Portuguese navigations through the ages.
