DESCRIPTION
A Brasileira was opened in 1905 and in the 20th century it was usually visited by artists and writers. In the esplanade there is a statue of Fernando Pessoa, the most important Portuguese Poet of the 20th century. The decoration of A Brasileira interior is one of the best Art Deco examples in Lisbon.
