Along the Sub-Ripas street in Coimbra's upper town is a fantastic Manueline doorway of the early-16th-century. It's the entrance to the Sub-Ripas Palace. The Renaissance windows and stone ornaments are the work of Jean de Rouen, whose workshop was nearby.
