Café Santa Cruz is one of the most famous bars in Coimbra. It’s located in a building dating back to the 16th century, which was used to be an auxiliary chapel to the Santa Cruz Monastery, located next door. High vaulted ceilings and opulent design, lending a distinct feeling of history and grandeur to the building. Café Santa Cruz occasionally presents Fado artists to the audience.
