NDSM is a former dock located across IJ where ships used to be repaired. Presently, NDSM is an underground art district with graffiti everywhere, an indoor Skate Park and an old submarine. There are also free exhibitions at 'New Dakota' and several parties and festivals occurring. You can get to NDSM via a free ferry during the day.
