Situated at the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers, Koblenz has been a strategic point since the Romans times. The train route between Koblenz and Frankfurt (that exists on each side of the river) crosses the Romantic Rhine and is one of the best scenic routes in Europe. Koblenz is also an amazing city to explore specially in the riverside.
