DESCRIPTION
Altare della Patria (Alter of the Fatherland) is also known as the Victor Emmanuel II National Monument is a monument in honour of the Italian unification by Victor Emmanuel II in the 19th century. Altare della Patria was completed in 1925 featuring monumental stairways, Corinthian columns and fountains.
