Basel is the third most populous city in Switzerland and is located where the Swiss, French and German borders meet. The EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg serves three cities of different countries. Basel is a fantastic city to visit. The altstadt with its red City Wall and its three medieval gates and walls are fantastic. If you go to Basel during Summer make sure to rent a floating bag and travel in the Rhine trough Basel. Truly amazing.
