Arc de Triomphe (Triumphal Arch) is located in the junction of l'Étoile on the far end of Champs-Élysées. Ordered by Napoleon to commemorate his military victories, Arc de Triomphe was inaugurated in 1836 with inscriptions of napoleon battles and generals. On the basis of the Arc de Triomphe rest the tomb of the unknown soldier to respect the fallen soldiers during the WWI.
