Josefov is the Jewish Quarter in Prague that dates back to the 13th century when Jews where ordered to settle in one location inside the city. Though centuries, Jews from nearby regions and countries moved to Josefov for protection and work. This Jewish Quarter is the best preserved complex of Jewish monuments in Europe.
