Bucharest is the capital of Romania at the banks of the Dâmbovi?a River. During the WWII Bucharest was referred as "Little Paris" because is mixture of architecture. However, Nicolae Ceau?escu's program of systematization destroyed most of that beauty and Bucharest is the perfect example of the Soviet imposing architecture. The Palace of Parlament is the perfect example of that architecture.
