Sarajevo, Bosnia's capital, is an interesting architectural combination between the Ottoman, Austro-Hungarian Empires with several decades of communist Yugoslavia on top. Due to the Yugoslavia collapse, Sarajevo has the centerpiece of the Bosnia War and you can still ruins from that war. Nowadays, it's center is filled with cafes and unique Turkish quarter in Europe.
