La Cambre Abbey is a Cistercian abbey founded in the 12th century. The present buildings are from the 18th century after the older ones were suppressed by the French Revolutionary Army. Inside the Abbey there is the The Mocking of Christ, a beautiful painting from the 16th century. La Cambre Abbey surrounding gardens are lovely.
