Basilica of the Sacred Heart is one of the ten biggest Catholic churches in the world. Started in 1905, for the celebration of the 75th anniversary of Belgian independence, the Basilica of the Sacred Heart was only completed 64 years later due to the World Wars. Built in Art deco style, the Basilica has a massive copper dome, 89m above the ground and twin towers that dominate Brussels skyline.
