Innsbruck is stuck in a valley surrounded by mountains. Within minutes, you can travel between the medieval city center and the resorts over 2000m above sea level. Innsbruck was home to the 1964 Olympic Games, and the takeoff ramp (Nordkette) is an iconic building with a great view over Innsbruck.
